Master Class: Physical Comedy for Young Shakespeare Actors

Physical Comedy Workshop involves engaging in games, noticing what feelings might come up during games, and using those feelings to create a character. Participants will learn how to act onstage vs. off, how to be supportive scene partners, and how to make it look like they tripped (when they actually didn't).

Andy Sapora has 16 years of experience as a hospital clown, working with all three major outlets in the tristate area: Big Apple Circus, Healthy Humor and Laughter League. For his day job, he is Nikita Karamazov in The Flying Karamazov Brothers. He once won the weekly New Yorker caption contest and has taken a principal bow (for an original non-singing role!) at The Metropolitan Opera.
