Brady Amoonclark, Artistic Director

Brady Amoonclark serves as Artistic Director for Children’s Shakespeare Theatre. Previous Directing credits with CST include: Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Henry IV, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Measure for Measure, Macbeth and Anouihl’s Antigone. Other directing experience includes The Wizard of Oz, Xanadu, and Mary Poppins with Helen Hayes Youth Theatre, Cinderella at Fieldstone Middle School, Closer at Nyack Village Theatre, and The Fantasticks off-off-Broadway. Shakespeare experience includes acting with the former Judith Shakespeare Company. Brady has acted, directed, stage-managed, run lights, created websites, dressed actors, and swept floors in all manner of theatrical productions ranging from community, scholastic, parochial, to regional, Off-Off and Off-Broadway settings.

Grey Johnson, Managing Director

Grey has been an arts administrator for many years most notably as Director of Membership at American Ballet Theatre and WBGO Jazz88, Marketing Director at Crossroads Theatre and Managing Director at Boston Shakespeare Company. Artistically he has acted on stage and been responsible for directing over 100 professional productions in the New York and Boston metro areas. Grey has taught and directed young people in theatre for many decades at Boston Shakespeare Company, Boston Youth Theatre, Harvard University, Billerica House of Correction, Daytop Drug Rehabilitation Program, Middlesex Community College, Pocantico Hills School, Plymouth State College, MIT and now at Children’s Shakespeare Theatre. 

Nina Carbone, Co-Office Manager

Nina Carbone is an alumna of Children’s Shakespeare Theatre. They were a part of the company for 7 years, and performed in more than 20 productions with the theatre including lead roles in Henry V, All’s Well That Ends Well, and Queen Lear. They taught at the CST Summer Sessions from 2019-2022 and have been the company’s office manager since September 2022. Nina now lives in Rhode Island with their dog Comrade and studies psychology, behavioral neuroscience, and queer studies at Rhode Island College.

Shauna Wennerod, Co-Office Manager

Shauna’s first experience with Children’s Shakespeare Theatre was as the parent of a child who got swept up in the magic of CST. Because she sees what makes CST so special, she recently joined the staff as an assistant office manager, drawing on her detail-oriented and copyediting skills. Born and raised in West Virginia and one of five Korean-American daughters, she has since lived in various places, including Paris, Taiwan, Vermont, San Francisco, Boston, and New York City. Her appreciation of other cultures and languages infuses all her endeavors and informs her perspective on life. She is grateful to call Piermont her home.

Marco Jo Clate, Assistant Director

Marco Jo is a screenwriter and theatre artist. She trained at NYU as an actress, then began creating her own work, which inspired a love for writing and directing. Her plays have been staged at Ensemble Studio Theatre, NYC Fringe Festival, and more. She has worked with theater kids from elementary to high school as a choreographer, director, and teacher. Marco Jo assisted with CST’s Antigone, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Macbeth, and Twelfth Night.

Ellie Greenway, Assistant Director

Ellie is a former CST alumna who is honored to be returning as an assistant director this year. Ellie holds a bachelor’s degree in Theater from SUNY Potsdam. Outside of CST, Ellie continues to foster her love for theatre at Elmwood Playhouse as a performer as well as at her job at Red Owl Academy where she directed a short play with both fours classes. 

Amy Griffin, Assistant Director

Amy Griffin is a professional director and actor who loves working with young people. Recent directing credits include: Aida, Tuck Everlasting, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and the critically acclaimed production of Fun Home at White Plains Performing Arts Center;  The 39 Steps, Shout!, and The Taffetas (Depot Theatre); Closet Space and Oregon (Music Theatre of CT), and Blue’s Clues Live (Nickelodeon). As an actor, Amy has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in First National Tours, and in countless regional productions, including seven (!) flights as Peter Pan (Independent Theatre Award). Amy lives in Nyack with her fabulous husband and son, and is also a private acting coach.

Megan Kip-Holden, Assistant Director

Megan was a NYC based actor/singer/dancer for over a decade, traveling the country performing in tours, regionally, and off-off Broadway.  Some of her favorite theatre credits are Les Misérables, Spelling Bee, Company, Importance of Being Earnest, My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz and Comedy of Errors. She recently assistant directed and choreographed Two Noble Kinsmen with CST, and staged and taught the choreography for Timon of Athens. She is honored to be a part of this wonderful company. She currently lives in Nyack with her two children and partner and works as a postpartum doula when not in the theatre. 

Giverny Petitmermet, Assistant Director

Giverny Petitmermet is an actor/director/producer/creator. She grew up in San Diego, received her BFA in Acting with a minor in Art History from Boston University and studied theatre at both the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and the British American Dramatics Academy (BADA). 

Giverny is the Artistic Director/Executive Producer of her theatre company, The New Collectives, and Lead Teaching Artist for her company's education wing, The Young Collectives, where she has lead many Shakespeare camps. She is also a founding member of BREAD Arts Collective and for the past three years has taught art and directed the Drama Club at Transfiguration School in Tarrytown, directing As You Like It and A Midsummer Night's Dream with 2nd through 8th graders.
